Saturday Morning Western Pulp: Ranch Romances, May 1960
Rafael de Soto was still doing pulp covers as late as 1960, and RANCH ROMANCES was one of the few pulps still around by then. This looks like a fairly gritty issue, with stories by Joseph Chadwick, W.J. Reynolds, Leslie Ernenwein, and Joe Archibald. The Chadwick and Ernenwein stories are reprints from THRILLING RANCH STORIES and TEXAS RANGERS, respectively. I saw issues of RANCH ROMANCES on the stands now and then when I was a kid, although I never bought one, of course. My mistake.

There are half a dozen "Ranch Romances" on the unz.org site, but unfortunately, not this one.
Some great covers, though.

Rafael DeSoto didn't do this cover in 1960. Thrilling borrowed it from a Popular Library paperback issued in 1952. She's showing a little more breast 8 years earlier!

Good catch on the cover! Popular Library and the Thrilling Group of pulps were both owned by Ned Pines, so the reuse of cover art isn't surprising, but I've more often seen it go the other way around, from pulps to paperbacks.
You're right about the borrowing. The early Popular Library issues often reused Pines' earlier pulp covers... especially some of those great Belarski covers! And thanks for the Rafael DeSoto artist info. I suspected it was by him, but it's nice to see you think so too!
