Well, that's certainly a striking, if somewhat goofy, cover by Robert Gibson Jones. Is that a giant dog or a tiny girl? I dunno. Don't have this issue. But I'd read it if I did, since it has stories by Fritz Leiber, Robert Bloch, William P. McGivern, Paul W. Fairman, and a host of others. The issues I've read of FANTASTIC ADVENTURES have been pretty over the top, but I've enjoyed all of them.

This one, along with many others, is available on-line at unz.com. Between that site and Comic Books Plus, 110 of the total 129 issues are now available.

Wow, that is an incredibly striking cover! And like you said, James, I don't even know what to say about it!
FANTASTIC ADVENTURES had some nice covers by McCauley but this one by Jones is really terrible. He was capable of good work but it makes you wonder what they were thinking.
