Beat to a Pulp Round One Cover

I know most of you have seen this already, but it's so cool I wanted it on my blog, too.  Can't wait to see the actual book -- and read it, of course!

Also on the subject of BTAP, this week's story is by my buddy Matt Mayo, and it's a dandy.  Check it out, if you haven't already.

I, too, am nuts about this cover. And I, too, cannot wait to get my hands on it. David and company appear to be pulling out the stops on this one.

This cover has been so enthusiastically received. We are on cloud nine at BTAP.

Thanks, James.

Beautifully ugly! And with 400 pages and 27 stories, I'm sure this will be THE anthology of the year.

James, can you tell me a little bit about the author Al Nussbaum. What I found is that he was a bank robber turned author. He wrote short stories about,um, bank robberies.

Dan,
Check out this page for info on Al Nussbaum:

I've heard of him primarily because of his friendship with the great hardboiled author Dan J. Marlowe. That page has a lot about his earlier career as a criminal, too.

Thank you James...Lots of good info on that site.
