The newly-expanded Gabriel Hunt website is now on-line, with a lot more information about the series, bigger cover scans, and sample chapters from some of the books. I can't wait to read the rest of these. Check it out, if you haven't already.

Well, that answers an obvious question I had: have all the authors read all the other books. I know that Ardai said he had a Hunt Bible and that the story was mapped out. But you wrote the first one. How'd that come about? Did you lobby for (a) writing a book or (b) writing book #1?
Charles approached me about working on the series. At that time he had already written the bible for it, and it's without a doubt one of the best series bibles I've ever seen. But really, all he had to do was describe the series to me before I gave him my answer: "I was born to write this stuff!" I didn't lobby for my entry to be first, but I'm thrilled and honored that it is.
I'm looking forward to getting a copy. I read the first chapter online, and it hits the ground running! I'm reminded of the Edgar Rice Burroughs adventures i read as a youth. The teases on the series that Charles Ardai has been sending out have really tweaked my interest.
bout freaking time.
This looks great, I'm definitely going to pick this up.
Although the Wold Newton fan in me, is wondering if there are any crossovers?
James,
I'm a Wold Newton fan, too, but no crossovers in this one. I don't know what the other authors have planned, though.
Darn, that looks good! Congrats, James - and Charles and the other writers, too!
