WESTERN NOVELS AND SHORT STORIES was a pretty good Western pulp. This one has a nice action cover and stories by Matt Stuart (who was really one of my favorites, L.P. Holmes), Philip Ketchum, H.A. De Rosso, Giles A. Lutz, and Frank Castle. That's a solid group of writers.

That's a Saunders cover, isn't it?
The action, style, and especially the hero's face with that slash of a mouth, makes me think it's his.

Yup I would say that definitly is a Saunders cover, the guys face like you said John is the give-a-way. And, anything with H A Derosso can't be bad!
