CBS Radio Mystery Theater
I remember listening to and enjoying the CBS Radio Mystery Theater back in the Seventies. Now all 1,399 episodes are available on-line for free. I'm an OTR fan from 'way back, although I can never seem to find the time to listen as much as I want to, but I'm definitely going to check these out, probably starting tonight. Lots of great stuff here!

Cool! I used to lie awake listening to these (instead of sleeping like I was supposed to) when I was a kid. I will definitely be checking these out. Sirius/XM has an OTR channel, and the host said CBS-RMT wasn't available. Thanks for posting this.
I was a cab driver working nights in San Franscico when they first aired. I think I listened to all of them. They were wonderful.
Thanks for the link. I'm definitely going to check it out today.
I listened to the one that creeped me out the most as a kid last night. A little cheesier and more over the top than I remembered, but it still gave me the creeps.
Thanks. Brings back the memories when OTR was all there was.
Of course, entirely too many of the CBS RMTs were mediocre or worse, too...doing the series weeknightly was too much a grind, I think, and yet most of the 1970s commercial dramatic projects were stripped: RMT, THE SEARS RADIO THEATER, Rod Serling's ZERO HOUR. (THE GENERAL MILLS ADVENTURE THEATER, from the RMT folks, was an exception.)
At least the NPR projects of the same vintage tended to be weekly affairs, such as EARPLAY and THE NATIONAL RADIO THEATER OF CHICAGO.
