Christmas Campfire Collection: A New Western Anthology
I don't know the release date of this book, but it will be out sometime this fall and would make a great Christmas gift for the Western readers among you. Livia has a Lucas Hallam story in it, I bring back Judge Earl Stark in a Christmas-themed Western mystery, and there are a dozen other great stories by Terry Burns, Tim Champlin, Matthew Mayo, Rod Miller, Kerry Newcomb, Robert Vaughan, Robert J. Randisi, Douglas Hirt, Dusty Richards, Frank Roderus, Troy Smith, and Larry Sweazy. This isn't a Western Fictioneers project, although most of the contributors are members of WF, but I recommend it highly anyway. Great stuff for the Christmas season! (The material about the anthology starts about 30 seconds into the trailer.)

A Judge Stark story. Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout
Yeah, Big Earl lives. I have a hunch there's going to be a new novel one of these days.
Looks like a great collection. Street & Smith used to have special Christmas issues of their pulps. WESTERN STORY would often have several stories with a Christmas holiday theme.
My contribution to this one, "Christmas Come to Freedom Hill," is one of my favorite short stories I've ever written. And I was pretty impressed by the anthology as a whole- some darn good stuff in there.
I agree, Troy. This looks to be a good one. I am pleased to be included in the anthology among such mighty writers.
After reading Cash Laramie and Gideon Miles, I think I've rediscovered the thrill of the Western. This looks good. Thanks.
There's a Gideon Miles story in this collection, Nigel, and it's a good'un.
Christmas is an especially poignant time in the Old West --looking forward to it!
