Congratulations, James, and to Livia, and all the nominees. Well deserved!
Excellent way to start the month!
What a great bunch of talent to be honored. Congratulations to everyone.
Cool, man. Congrats. Lots of good authors on that list.
Grats, sir! Way to go.
Congrats, James, it's a really good book.
Congratulations to you and Wayne Dundee. You guys deserve the recognition.

Congratulations, Mr. Reasoner! A round of applause, too, to all others who made it and those who were nominated.
Congratulations Mr. Reasoner. Judging from your work ethic, this award is richly deserved. Can anyone explain to me what the difference is between the Peacemaker and the Spur awards? For a specialized field of fiction like the western, I am surprised there isn't more overlap between the finalists. Best wishes.
The Peacemaker is given by Western Fictioneers, the Spur by Western Writers of America. WF is devoted strictly to Western fiction, while WWA takes in all areas of Western literature, including non-fiction, poetry, TV and movies, etc. Like nearly all awards given out by writers organizations, the judging is done by committees, so it's just a difference in taste between one group of judges and another, I'd say.
It's a shame there are no longer any western fiction magazines. I'm sure you would be one of the star writers. Congratulations.
Congratulations on your win, James, and to Livia on her nomination.
As an aside, I finished Tractor Girl last night and loved it. A real noir gem.
My Stetson is off to you and everyone else.
Congrats, James, and to all the winners and finalists!
