A Middle of the Night Music Post: Last Date - Floyd Cramer
I've mentioned before that I used to go with my dad a lot when he made his TV repair service calls. He listened to country music in his truck, usually KBOX, 1480 on your AM dial, out of Dallas. So I heard this song a lot, and I still like it.

I've always liked this one, too.
This is a great one. I also liked Skeeter Davis' rendition of it, with lyrics.
Funny how music can put you in a certain time and place. Hearing this, I'm looking out the window into our backyard watching my mom hanging wash on a line on a windy summer day probably 45 years ago.
