33 Years Ago Today . . .

Still here. Still together. Smartest thing I ever did.

James,

It looks like you've been a very lucky guy for a very long time. Happy anniversary!

James, why did you have to post that wedding shot so close to the cover of The Vampire Affair?
The images are so uncannily identical that it confuses the eye...

I've only got 17 years in on my marriage, so I have a way to go to match you, but it was the smartest thing I ever did, too.

And 2 years later I wore that same blue suit to take Kelly out on our first date. Seriously, I've got pictures with Kelly and the identical suit. Congratulations. We had our 30th anniversary on the 12th and I was stuck in OKC. Asked Kelly why 30 seems so much more solid than 25. Guess we're gonna stick.

So young, so geeky. You have to wonder what see saw in you.... Oh, wait, that's what I was thinking on OUR 30th anniversary. That was the 18th, three days before and three years after yours. What an unexpected synchronicity. Congrats.

Congratulations to you and Livia. May you have another 33. Anna and I just celebrated 59. At least try for that.
