It's still morning where I am, so rather than skip it this week, here's a dramatic cover by Peter Stevens on the July 1947 issue of ADVENTURE. This appears to be a pretty good issue. It features Steve Frazee's first published story, a Caradosso story by F.R. Buckley (I've got to try this series sometime), and stories by George C. Appell, James Norman, Duane Decker, and lesser-known authors Fred Lane and Henry Norton. ADVENTURE may have been past its prime by the late Forties, but it was still a pretty darned good pulp.
