A Middle of the Night Music Post: Garden in the Rain - Diana Krall

This seems like an appropriate song, since I'm sitting up with dogs freaking out from thunderstorms.

Sorry 'bout that! Among the three cats we have, only the tomcat has been known to be too discombobulated by t-storms.

Krall is good for many occasions. Even if her labels were rather too invested in her legs on the early albums.

I often put Diana Krall on for background music when I'm writing.

Prefer her husband Elvis Costello.

I like Elvis Costello and admire his talent, but the guy is often so much more about squeezing in as many clever lyrics as possible than he is about melody, tone and atmosphere that sometimes I wish he'd write short stories instead.
