Happy Fourth of July

I hope all of you who celebrate the Fourth of July have a great day (and those of you who don't celebrate it as well).  I plan to spend it in the great American tradition:  working.  But we live up high enough we usually have a good view of all the fireworks shows in the area, so I might watch some of that tonight.

Happy 4th to you and Livia. And same here, fireworks right outside the window.

Very Happy 4th to you and your family James. Great photo.

I was going to watch some Independence Day movie(s), but none of the offerings on TCM appeal. So I'll do some chores and fire up the grill (we called it a BBQ when I was growing up) for some burgers later.

Richard - I saw that "1776" was one. It's pretty charming.

James - Just curious: do you ever take a day off?

David - We saw the fireworks at a church gathering as the local Houston Concert Band performed. This after hosting nearly 30 people at our house today. Time for bed.

Scott,
Yeah, there's usually at least one day a week I don't produce any new pages, although I might work on other writing-related stuff. I write a lot on weekends and take days off during the week, though, and I tend to work on holidays as well, unless we're going somewhere to visit family.
