Now Available from the Western Fictioneers Library

It's another strong month for the Western Fictioneers Library with the release of the novel FAST HAND by Karl Lassiter (who's really the prolific and consistently excellent Robert E. Vardeman) and ENEMIES AND OTHER WESTERN STORIES, the third collection from the talented and acclaimed Ed Gorman. Both of these are fine books, and you can read more about them here, along with some news about another Gorman project coming soon from WF. Or you can just go and buy 'em. You won't be sorry.

 

Two New Titles from the Western Fictioneers Library

Two new titles are now available from the Western Fictioneers Library. A DISGRACE TO THE BADGE AND OTHER WESTERN STORIES is the second collection of short Western fiction from Ed Gorman. You all know how good Ed's stories are. STAMPEDE AT RATTLESNAKE PASS is another exciting Jake Scudder adventure from Clay More (Keith Souter). Keith always packs these yarns not only with action but also intriguing plot twists and colorful characters. This one also features a great scene with a rattlesnake that I don't think I've ever encountered in another Western novel. Both of these books get high recommendations from me (and not just because I helped edit 'em).

Now Available: The Trail Brothers - Troy D. Smith

The legendary days of the cattle drive era come to vivid life in THE TRAIL BROTHERS by award-winning Western author Troy D. Smith. Smith is one of the most highly regarded young authors of Western fiction, and this compelling, action-packed novel is a good example of why he has that reputation. For a great yarn, saddle up and ride with THE TRAIL BROTHERS.

This is one of the best cattle drive novels you'll ever read, folks. Highly recommended.

New From the Western Fictioneers

The Western Fictioneers publishing program is really expanding these days. There are three new releases from the Western Fictioneers Library, WF's reprint imprint: LEAVING KANSAS, a Spur Award winner for Best Western Novel from the legendary Frank Roderus; JUDGE ON THE RUN, another fine action-packed traditional Western from Clay More (Keith Souter); and RANGER'S REVENGE by James J. Griffin, one of the best chroniclers of Texas Ranger yarns in the business. I've read all three of these, and they're well worth your time. Also available are THE PEACEMAKERS VOLUME 2 and VOLUME 3, excellent collections of more stories that either won or were finalists for the Peacemaker Award for Best Short Story.
