I really need to read more by George Bruce. The one novella I read by him was excellent. He's the headliner in this issue of AIR STORIES, but there are plenty of other good authors in this one as well, such as Frederick C. Davis, Arthur J. Burks, James P. Olsen, Andrew A. Caffrey, Jack Smalley, and Gil Brewer (not the hardboiled crime author, but rather his father, the author of the immortal "Gorilla of the Gasbags"). I've developed a fondness for aviation pulp, but sadly, there's just not enough time in the day to work in everything that interests me.
