Just a great-sounding, fun song. I loved playing baseball as a kid, and I enjoy watching it now. I still wouldn't mind going out and catching a few flies, but I'm not sure my knees would take it anymore.
We've seen John Fogerty in concert four times at four different venues (Madison Square Garden, Jones Beach - with Willie Nelson, Hammerstein Ballroom and the Beacon Theater) in the last decade and he was great at all of them.
If you like baseball songs, try Dave Frishberg's Dodger Blue and Van Lingle Mungo. As for cstching some fly balls, I plan to do that at the Field of Dreams in August with some former softball teammates.
