I'm disappointed to see that I'm too late to get in on this one, but it was fascinating stumbling onto your blog during the course of a Google search for giant novel #11, wondering whether I'd missed one, but I see that it was Jove that actually missed it. I just finished reading Lone Star Trackdown, which was the first Longarm that I've bought in years. Excellent brain candy, as usual, and it was refreshing to see the Lone Star duo return after their long absence. Hope to see more of them.
ReplyDeleteI've known all along that Tabor Evans had to be a pen name, but never gave a thought to it being a series of completely different authors. That explains a whole lot about why the writing style seems to change every so often.
I must say, though, I am very partial to your particular style, and hope to see them keep you for awhile, at least.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words. I've been writing Longarms for 18 years, so they'll have to run me off to get me to stop. Jessie and Ki will be back in next year's Giant. After that, who knows?
