My favorites of his are the adventure stories like the ones collected in FAR LANDS, OTHER DAYS, which is a great volume I wish someone would reprint in an affordable edition. I've never read the science fiction and fantasy novels Del Rey published when Price made his comeback in the Seventies. Most pulp writers would probably be shocked if they knew we were still reading and discussing them seventy or eighty years later. I think most of them figured they would be quickly forgotten.James Reasonerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18049917964433932612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7527967.post-14506784309368777522014-10-19T09:16:27.595-05:002014-10-19T09:16:27.595-05:00 Generally speaking E. He mentions this somewhere in that he wrote to put food o the table not what future generations might thin of him. I corresponded with Price in the last years of his life and I deeply regret losing his letters to me when I moved around 15 years ago.Barry Traylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14134880916215990198noreply@blogger.com
