Admittedly, I've read only a dozen or so of them, and maybe I didn't read the right ones. I do plan to read more by him. I've been won over by authors before, not liking their work at first and then coming to appreciate it later on, so that could happen here, too. "At the Mountains of Madness" is definitely one of the stories I intend to read. I'll look for those Penguin editions. And to give the man his due, whether I like his stories or not, I do believe that he's incredibly important in the history of horror fiction and am glad that so much of his work is readily available.James Reasonerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18049917964433932612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7527967.post-47892952827906994412008-10-11T16:54:00.000-05:002008-10-11T16:54:00.000-05:00I have always had a soft spot for H.P.Lovecraft.Ma...I have always had a soft spot for H.P.Lovecraft.
Many of his stories were filmed - like 'The Dunwich Horror' and when Vincent Price wasn't in a Poe horror movie then he was doing Lovecraft.
As Bruce has said the Penguin editions are the best.Rayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18154296143024548830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7527967.post-76676738300142333202008-10-10T20:17:00.000-05:002008-10-10T20:17:00.000-05:00Well James let me suggest the penguin editions.
