I've recently discovered this new webcomic that mixes Westerns, steampunk, and horror. Written and drawn by Luke Varner, it's a lot of fun and I'm enjoying reading it. Many of the comics produced today are quite beyond the level of my understanding. But then, I am very old alas! And as a child in Britain with limited pocket money I preferred the weekly story papers as better reading value. My taste for, and appreciation of, comics didn't develop until I started scriptwriting for them in my late teens and twenties. If anyone here likes traditional Western comics, may I point them to the Fans of Western Books group on Facebook? Currently you can find there a "Sun Comic" serialization of the 1950 movie BRANDED, based on a Max Brand novel and drawn by Geoff Campion.
