Music I Like: What Now My Love - Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass

I just about wore the grooves out on this album playing it in the Sixties.

Alpert always looked just a little uncomfortable doing those album photos...it's probably notable that the one that captured so much lingering attention featured only the woman model...(my parents had copies of GOING PLACES! and, oddly enough, WHIPPED CREAM...)

That WHIPPED CREAM cover is pretty iconic, all right. I had all the Sixties albums on vinyl for many, many years. This one was probably my favorite, or maybe the one that had "Casino Royale" on it, don't recall what it was called. I hated "This Guy's In Love With You" with Alpert's vocals, but over the years I've come to tolerate it. My all-time favorite Alpert album is SECOND WIND.
