David Carradine

Let me join a host of other people in expressing my sadness at the death of David Carradine. I was in college when KUNG FU first aired, and it was hard to get anything done in classes the day after every episode because everybody had to talk about what happened on KUNG FU the night before. A couple of years ago, we watched part of the first season on DVD, and the episodes held up pretty well. I enjoyed his work in plenty of other things, too. Rest in peace, Mr. Carradine.

I couldn't agree more. The show was a great influence on a young kid growing up in the seventies and I watched them all and just last year bought each season on DVD... RIP indeed.

Very sad. I remember when he married Barbara Hershey and she took on some strange name.

Yes. Fabulous series (Kung Fu). Didn't DC also narrate some West shows on the History Channel? I believe I saw him recently. RIP, DC.

Carridine hosted "Western Tech" which was mostly about the guns and gun-fighters of the old west.

The latest reports from Thailand suggest that Carridine died from auto-asphixiation (sp?), the cause of death for a number of highly talented people (Vaughan Bode, for example).
